Enrichment:
Enrichment is working overtime to provide exceptional educational programs for our kids this year. We've already had Wildlife Encounters visit and teach the kids about wildlife conservation and show them some real Rainforest animals. The Living in Space program visited St. Mary's as well. Both programs were great and the students really enjoyed them.
Some upcoming events include: the Chinese Acrobats in March. Thank you to Martha Fisher for all her hard work putting together these great programs.
What is PAC?
The Parent Action Committee (known as PAC) is a group of parents and teachers working together to provide enrichment programs, family events, supplemental materials and equipment to enhance our children’s learning experience at St. Mary School. These programs are made possible through the efforts of many volunteers.
The purpose of PAC is to enhance the educational experience of the students of St. Mary school through a coordinated effort of parents and teachers. PAC provides additional financial support to the school and operates on an annual budget based upon the Annual Fee and voluntary collections. The disbursement of the Annual Fee dollars for the benefit of the school and all of its students are explained at open PAC meetings.
PAC is organized and operated with the consent of school administration and the pastor of the parish.
Who are the members of PAC?
1. All parents, and guardians, of students attending St. Mary School.
2. Pastor of St. Peter Parish and assistants
3. Principal, Assistant Principal, or designee
When are meetings held?
The Parent Action Committee meets monthly as a committee and hold three open meetings throughout the school year for all parents to attend. Additional meetings may be held by a vote of the Executive Board.
