Tuition and Fees for 2011-2012


In-Parish Tuition: All Day Kindergarten through 8th Grade

Family Plan will also include Preschool Students

Granted to families registered at St. Peter Parish, who have a Mass attendance of no less than 40 weekends per year at St. Peter Parish (January-December). Every registered family received envelopes with an assigned number on them. Please make sure you give your envelope at Mass. Every envelope in our parish is accounted fro every week, whether or not they contain an offering.

Frequently Asked Tuition Questions and Information

  • New this year: if you are responsible for the enrollment of a new family, your family and the new family will receive a $125.00 tuition discount!
  • Weekly Mass attendance is recorded by envelope usage not monetary amount in the envelope.
  • Ten hours of volunteer service to the school and two days of lunch duty are required. You may opt to pay $100.00 in lieu of fulfilling your service hour requirements.


Scholarship Assistance:
  • Opportunities for Tuition Assistance are available through the Archdiocese of Detroit and from St. Peter Parish; application forms for both of these services are available in the school offices. If interested, please contact the St. Peter Parish tuition manager for more details. Applications for both programs are due in April.
  • All parents are encouraged to utilize the SCRIP program. A percentage of the amount you spend in this program goes towards your child's tuition. Information is available in both school offices and at the Parish Administration Building.

Tuition Payment Information:
  • Each family will receive a tuition payment booklet with 10 monthly payment coupons.
  • Tuition payments are due by the 15th of each month from 3/15/10-12/15/10.
  • There is an additional charge of $5.00 for each week a payment is late.
  • There is a $25.00 returned check fee. After the second returned check, only cash will be accepted.
  • All tuition payments must be up-to-date to begin school in September or to begin the 2nd semester in January.
  • Once a semester begins, that semester's tuition is non-refundable.
  • Report cards will not be given if a family's tuition is in arrears. Edline access will also be denied.
